בָּרַךְ
barak
bah-RAKH
to bless; also to kneel
Where it comes from
The same consonants give both blessing and kneeling. Blessing God and bending the knee are bound together in the word itself.
Psalm 103:1-2
Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name. Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits.
