Somebody you know is having a bad week. You want to send them something. So you forward a graphic you found somewhere, or you type a verse out of memory and hope you got it right, and it lands like a chain letter.
We built Tell Them for that moment. It is free, there is nothing to sign up for, and it takes about a minute.
Where the name comes from
There is a man in Mark 5 who lived in the tombs outside Gadara. Nobody could hold him, not even with chains. Jesus frees him, and the man asks to come along. Jesus tells him no.
Go home to thy friends, and tell them how great things the Lord hath done for thee, and hath had compassion on thee. (Mark 5:19)
The first man sent out with a message in Mark’s gospel has no training, no credentials and one story. He is sent to the people who already know him. That is the whole idea.
What it does
Three things, all on one page.
- Today — a short devotional already made. Read it, or pass it straight on.
- Make one — pick verses by reference or by subject, write your own few lines around them, give it a title.
- Send — a link that opens into the real thing. Not a screenshot, not a picture of words. The scripture is live, and every reference opens the whole chapter around it.
It prints, two ways
Anything you make can come out as scripture cards, in whichever way suits your printer. Fold in half — one sheet, one pass, verse on one side and the reference on the other, so the two faces can never drift out of register. Or front and back — print one side, put the paper back in, print the other.
The cards are coloured by the part of the Bible each verse comes from. Law, History, Poetry, the Major and Minor Prophets, the Gospels, the Epistles, Revelation — the same palette as our Bible tabs, so a Psalms card and a Psalms tab are the same colour in your hand.
Three translations
King James, Berean Standard, and the Reina-Valera 1909 for Spanish. Switch at the top, and whatever you send goes in the translation you chose.
What it will not do
There is no account. Nothing you write is stored on our side unless you choose to send it, and what you save is saved on your own device. There is no feed, no followers, no counter telling you how many people opened it.
It is one person sending one thing to one person. That is all it is for.

The man at Gadara was not handed a method. He was handed something that had happened to him, and told to go home with it. If you have that, you have enough.
