Comfort for people who had lost someone
Paul, Silvanus and Timotheus to a young church he had been separated from before he could finish teaching. They were doing well, but a question was troubling them: believers had died, and would they miss out when the Lord returned? Paul answers directly. The dead in Christ shall rise first, and the living will be caught up together with them, and he tells them to comfort one another with those words. Around that he writes about working with your own hands, minding your own business, and being ready for a day that comes as a thief in the night.
