About this psalm
It begins and ends with the same words — O LORD our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth — and in between it asks the question the night sky asks: When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained; what is man, that thou art mindful of him? The answer it gives is not that man is nothing.
