About this psalm
Written in a dry and thirsty land where no water is, and the thirst in it is not for water. O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee. Then the line that measures everything else against it: thy lovingkindness is better than life. He remembers God on his bed, in the night watches.
