About this psalm
This one is prayed for somebody else — a king about to go into battle. The LORD hear thee in the day of trouble; the name of the God of Jacob defend thee. Halfway through it stops asking and starts declaring: Some trust in chariots, and some in horses; but we will remember the name of the LORD our God.
Read it over someone who is about to walk into something hard.
