About this psalm
Two halves and a hinge. First the sky, which says nothing and is heard everywhere: The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork. Then the law of the LORD, which is perfect, converting the soul, and more to be desired than gold. Then one man asking to be cleansed from secret faults, and closing with the line many preachers pray before they speak.
