Psalm 118 · Book Five
Hallel
About this psalm
The last of the Hallel, and full of lines the New Testament picks up. It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man. The stone which the builders refused is become the head stone of the corner. This is the day which the LORD hath made. Blessed be he that cometh in the name of the LORD — which is what the crowd shouted on Palm Sunday.
