Psalm 28 · Book One · David
Of David.
The Hebrew title · Berean Standard Bible
About this psalm
The fear in this one is not of enemies but of silence: be not silent to me: lest, if thou be silent to me, I become like them that go down into the pit. David asks not to be dragged away with the workers of iniquity. Then, partway through, the answer comes and the psalm changes key — blessed be the LORD, because he hath heard the voice of my supplications.
