About this psalm
The same alphabet as Psalm 111, turned around: where that one described God, this describes the man who fears him. His seed shall be mighty. Wealth and riches shall be in his house. He is not afraid of evil tidings: his heart is fixed, trusting in the LORD. Paul borrows one of its lines about scattering abroad and giving to the poor.
