God's name never appears, and He is everywhere
A Jewish orphan raised by her cousin Mordecai becomes queen of Persia without anyone knowing what she is. Haman, promoted to the king's right hand, is enraged that Mordecai will not bow, and buys a decree to destroy every Jew in the empire on a single day. Mordecai sends word to Esther: who knoweth whether thou art come to the kingdom for such a time as this. She goes to the king unsummoned, at the risk of her life, and the whole thing turns. Haman hangs on the gallows he built. The feast of Purim still remembers it.
